GFUL Field Umpire Coaching Session – Wednesday 17 February

AFL DVD – Areas of Focus

There are no rule changes for season 2010.

However, the following free kicks will be consistently applied:-

50m penalties for encroaching the mark,
50m penalties for not giving the ball directly back to an opponent,
Free kicks for holding the ball where a player has no prior opportunity but makes no real attempt to dispose of the ball and,
Holding at stoppages
