Training for all GU will be conducted at the GU rooms from now on. There will be no more training at Eastern Gardens.

An All in meeting will be conducted on Monday 6th March at the GU Rooms.

This meeting will be conducted between 5:30-6:00.

On Monday 13th March, there will be no training due to the public holiday.

I have pleasure in announcing a new partnership has commenced with Total Care Podiatry.  Total Care Podiatry are now the preferred podiatry provided for Geelong Umpires (GU).Benefits directly available to members, and their immediate family, include a 10% discount on consultations, and a 10% discount on purchases.  They are located at 209 Malop St, Geelong.
 
In addition, and aligned with our goal of being proactive to keep members injury free, we have organised a free 20 minute podiatry assessment to be conducted for all members of the high performance squad and the umpires who officiated in all the senior and reserve grand finals last year.  These assessments are obligatory for these umpires, and will be held on a training night in our rooms in March.  An appointment time will be sent to each umpire, as well as a pre-assessment questionnaire from Total Care Podiatry.  There are also additional spaces available for any other member that would like to take advantage of this free assessment – just in time before the season commences.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Training for the 2017 season has commenced. Attendance has been quite good with lots of new, past and present members attending. The first scheduled training session was cancelled due to the GFUL heat policy. All other training sessions will continue to advised otherwise from your coaches or various GFUL social media posts.

Senior Umpire Training
Time: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Location: GFUL Rooms, Monday nights  (All Seniors)
