The WorkSafe VCFL Country Championships feature an Inter-League Double-Header at Skilled Stadium on Saturday 2nd June. The Bellarine Football League will take on the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League at 11:15am, followed by the Geelong Football League versus the Hampden Football League at 2:15pm. The VCFL Championships for 2007 have been billed as "Local Derby" Rounds, however, as much as Geelong and the Hampden League are neighbours, the Yarra Valley Mouintain District League is far from being local neighbours to the Bellarine. Nevertheless, it is terrific that both the GFL and BFL are once again involved in Inter-League competition as it also give local umpires the opportunity to represent their local leagues at the highest level. Congratulations to the umpires appointed to both games: Geelong Football League v Hampden Football League
