GFUL Umpires Steven Trotter (Field) , Tim Larkins and Adam Bell (Boundary), will enjoy the experience of a lifetime when they take the field at the MCG on Saturday 26th May to officiate in the AFL curtain raiser to the Richmond v Essendon game.  The curtain raiser is an important component of the AFL’s Indigenous Round and will be played between  Rumbalara Football Club and the Tiwi Islands.   The game will televised live accross Australia on the Impagra Cable network.   Steve, Tim and Adam were selected from a huge list of nominations, therefore there is no doubt that their appointments were based on merit and ability and were extremely well deserved, as they are for all the other umpires appointed from other Umpiring Associations, and we know they will all perform well on the big stage.
