The GFUL promote a very strong family orientated social calendar to compliment and add to a well balanced umpiring environment.     To achieve this aim we need a strong and vibrant Social Committee to organise and promote social interaction between all levels and age groups within our organisation.   Volunteers who feel they have something to contribute to the very important social side of umpiring are encouraged to nominate for the 2007 Social Committee.   No experience is required, just a desire and commitment to helping make the GFUL a great place to be involved socially and to create a happy and friendly atmosphere in which members can relax and enjoy.
