The Geelong Umpires are actively recruiting umpires for the remainder of this football season and for next season as well.
Umpiring Australian Rules Football is a fantastic way of keeping fit, meeting new friends and being involved in the action of our great Australian game.
Depending on your level of motivation and ambition, you can umpire for purely social and general fitness reasons, or treat it as a sport where you can aim to excel at the highest level.
Like other sports, Umpires have a dedicated coaching panel, training staff and observers who are all committed to making your umpiring experience an enjoyable one, ensuring that you are given every opportunity to achieve your goals.

- Visit a training session at the Geelong Umpire Rooms on Monday and Wednesday nights from 4.30 pm for our Development Umpires and 5:30pm for our Senior Umpires
- Talk to a coach and meet other umpires
- Complete a membership application
- Commence training
